COMPOSITING EXPERIENCE
I’m Oscar. I connect the craft of compositing with the possibilities of virtual production.
Since 2011, I’ve worked across high-end film and television, from on-set production to the final image. My experience spans Industrial Light & Magic, DNEG, Framestore, Animal Logic, NantStudios and Weta Digital, with work taking me through London, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne.
My focus is on making ambitious imagery work in practice: ICVFX plate capture, 2.5D set extensions, driving plates, colour science and final-pixel compositing. At NantStudios, I supervised virtual production and led the compositing arm of the Virtual Art Department in Melbourne.
I bring a hands-on approach to both the image and the team behind it, integrating Nuke and ComfyUI-assisted workflows into production, supervising artists, and teaching through AFTRS, ACCESS: VFX, university lectures and private mentorship.
